There is a new site out called LookCut. LookCut are geared towards health and fitness that combines issues on weight loss, fitness, diets, nutrition, longevity, wellness and long term benefits of healthy living.
It focuses on how healthy weight loss can be achieved realistically by today's urban and busy individuals. This is what I'm looking for. Someone that cares for the overall health aspects of busy individuals instead of advocating weight loss techniques like some portals or sites do.

Let me give you a rundown on who we are and what we do.
Me, I work in the IT industry as a manager. I have done this since 96 and i should really get out. However the money is good and work is interesting still. I have always been an active person since i was a kid. I have played tennis a lot when i was small and also a fair bit of horse riding. So moving and taking care of the body has always been on my mind.
When i was younger i had no real idea about keeping fit. You did this anyway with all the running around that one did. Now being 35 and working a lot one seems to have less time for training. Now comes the first thing that "experts" say.. And that is that you have to make time for it. That's all well and good. However how many of you feel like training after a full day at work.
You get up at 6am (as late as possible without missing the bus) you get some brekky and head for work. You work a full day and by the time you leave work your just tired. Having to do a 30 of 60 min workout is not the first thing on my mind.
So you tell me how much will you have to either go to the gym and fight the crowds (this will be its own post) or go home and try to change into workout clothes and get out the door instead of slumping down in the couch. It's HARD i tell you. Some of you might say that you do this all the time.... Well a lot of people get really good at coming up with the best excuses for not doing it.
Ok that was just the opening from me.
My wife works in IT also and has a full time job. She says the same thing. You get up early, get to work, work all day, wait for the bus on the way home, bus is late and when you finally get home after commuting for an hour, the only thing on your mind is to sit.
Now we have not even started on dinners and having the energy to make a healthy dinner after a workout or an even healthier dinner if you decided not to work out.
I'll be back with more soon.
